Pull the male plants immediately by putting a trash bag over the top of them without disrupting the pollen that is in the little flowers, and then take shears and cut the plant at the base of the stalk.  Take the garbage bag and put it into a trash can outside of the garden, and immediately shower so you do not spread pollen to your female plants.
